Billboard Awards: The Weeknd é líder de indicações

Após a polêmica sobre não ter sido indicado ao Grammy Awards, The Weeknd se torna o nome mais citado entre as indicações do Billboard Awards, que irá ao ar no dia 23 de maio, em Los Angeles. Abel Makkonen, o The Weeknd, atingiu a incrível marca de 16 nomeações em um único ano. Dois rappers preenchem o pódio ao seu lado, DaBaby, com 11 indicações e Pop Smoke, que foi morto em sua própria casa no ano passado, somando 10 nomeações.

Os indicados foram anunciados através de uma live na plataforma do Youtube na última quinta-feira (29), apresentada por Zuri Hall e LaLa Milan. Anitta, Finneas, Luis Fonsi e Timbaland também participaram como convidados, anunciando algumas categorias.

Nomes consagrados como Taylor Swift, BTS, BLACKPINK, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, drake, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande e Doja Cat marcam presença na lista.
